Can I update my SigParser account email?

Transfer your SigParser account to a new email address for login.

Updated over 5 months ago

When you sign up with SigParser, you will need to register with a valid email address. Each time you log into SigParser, you will use this email address to access your account.

You can change the email address associated with your SigParser account login by assigning a new email address for the account login and deleting the former email user.

Note: You must have the appropriate permissions in your SigParser account to complete these steps. You will also need to be able to verify the new email address.

  1. Log into your SigParser account

  2. Go to Settings > Users > Users

  3. Select +Add > select Mailbox Admin as the User Role > enter the email address you wish to use to log into your SigParser account moving forward. Make sure it is spelled correctly.

  4. Select Save

  5. An email invitation will be sent to the newly added email address. Follow the steps to join this email account to your existing SigParser account.

  6. Once you have joined, use this email to access your SigParser account moving forward.

Optional:

  • Delete the former account email user by going to Settings > Users > Users > select the User > Delete.

It's important to note that:

  • You won't lose any data associated with your former mailbox.

  • If you no longer have access to the old mailbox, it may become disconnected, preventing future scanning, but historical data will be preserved.

Remember, your data remains accessible in your SigParser account as long as it's active (current subscription or login within the past year).

You can also export your data in CSV format at any time for backup or use in other platforms.
