SigParser MCP Server: Your Relationship Intelligence, Wherever You Work

Connect SigParser to ChatGPT, Claude, and more.

Updated today

SigParser now connects directly to AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Harvey AI, Athena, and other MCP-compatible assistants through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. This means you can access your contact database, company records, and relationship intelligence without ever leaving your AI workspace.

This feature requires a SigParser subscription.

What Is an MCP Server?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external data sources and tools. When you connect SigParser's MCP server to a compatible AI tool, the assistant can query your SigParser data — contacts, companies, relationships, and more — in real time, as part of a natural conversation. You can also update records (contacts and companies) and trigger enrichment, all from within your AI assistant.

Your Data, Your Rules

Access to the MCP server is governed by the same role-based permission system you already use in SigParser. No new models to learn — your existing settings apply automatically.

  • MCP access must be enabled for a user's role by an admin before they can connect

  • Relationship data requires the dedicated View All Relationships permission, just as it does in the app. This is available on Team subscriptions and above.

How to Connect

If SigParser is not yet in the app store for your MCP-compatible assistant, you can use the following MCP Endpoint URL when connecting:

OAuth (Recommended)

MCP clients that support OAuth 2.0 — such as Claude — will handle authentication automatically. Point the client at the MCP endpoint, and it will guide you through signing in to your SigParser account. No manual configuration needed.

API Key (Manual)

For clients that don't support OAuth, you can authenticate using a SigParser API key. Generate your key from your account settings in the SigParser app (the key must have the all scope), then provide it using the Authorization: Bearer <token>.

Note: Regardless of how you authenticate, your SigParser role must have the Can Use MCP Endpoint permission enabled. Contact your SigParser admin if you need access.

What Can You Do With It?

Pre-Meeting Company Briefs

Walking into a meeting without context is a thing of the past. Before any call, ask your AI assistant to brief you on a company and get back a full picture in seconds:

  • Company profile — industry, size, location, website

  • Your team's relationship map — who on your team knows people there, ranked by relationship strength, with email and meeting history for each connection

  • Key contacts — every known person at the company, sorted by how much you've interacted with them, including their title, seniority level, and last interaction date

  • Relationship health — how many active vs. stale relationships exist, who your strongest internal champion is, and when the relationship first began

  • Suggested talking points — observations about relationship momentum, contacts not yet engaged, and upcoming meetings

"Brief me on Acme Corp before my call tomorrow." "Prep me for my meeting with the team at TechCo."

Follow-Up Recommendations

Your strongest relationships don't stay strong on their own. SigParser tracks the health of every relationship and can tell you exactly who you should be reaching out to before things go cold.

Ask your AI assistant for a follow-up report and get contacts ranked in tiers by relationship score:

  • Tier 1: High-value relationships — strong history, but no interaction in 30+ days

  • Tier 2: Warming relationships — moderate history that needs attention

  • Tier 3: At risk — significant past history that's nearly gone cold

Each entry includes total emails exchanged, meetings held, date of last interaction, and how many days have passed — so you can prioritize at a glance.

"Who should I be following up with this week?" "Show me relationships I'm losing touch with."

Industry Network Analysis

Want to know how deep your company's network goes in a particular industry? SigParser can map it out — every company you have relationships with, every contact you know, and how strong those connections are.

Reports break down by:

  • Top companies in the industry, ranked by total interactions

  • Key contacts by seniority — C-Level and VP, Directors and Managers, and other contacts — each showing relationship score, last interaction, and which teammate is most connected to them

  • Relationship strength distribution — how many contacts fall into strong, moderate, or weak categories

  • Insights — which companies have the deepest relationships and which coworkers are most connected in the space

"Who do we know in the healthcare industry?" "Map out our network in financial services."

Enrichment and Updates

The MCP server also supports targeted enrichment and data hygiene workflows, such as:

  • Find all contacts at a given company with no job title and run job enrichment

  • Run email validation on C-Level contacts who haven't had an interaction in the past 90 days

  • Update custom fields — for example, set a "Last Payment" field with the most recent payment date

What Data Is Available

Once connected, your AI assistant can access:

  • Contacts — names, email addresses, phone numbers, titles, seniority levels, location, interaction history, and relationship metrics

  • Companies — name, domain, industry, employee count, location, and overall relationship metrics

  • Relationships — the full history between any team member and any external contact, including emails sent and received, meetings held, relationship score (0–100), and interaction dates

    • Requires Team Sub or higher

  • Coworkers — basic profile info on internal team members with connected mailboxes

  • Job Experiences — career history for contacts enriched via LinkedIn
