How Long Does a Scan Take?
How Long Does a Scan Take?
Updated over 5 months ago

It depends!

The time it takes to complete a scan depends on:

  1. How far back you are scanning

  2. How much data is in the connected mailbox

Shorter scans with less data may take a few minutes to a few hours to complete.

A 10 year scan may take 24-48 hours to complete. However, if the mailbox has a significant amount of data, it could take weeks or a month.

If your SigParser scan appears to be frozen, don't worry. The scan process continues in the cloud even if it seems stuck on a specific number.

In most cases, if your scan has been interrupted, it will automatically restart. To check the status of your scan: Select "Mailboxes" from the top menu of your SigParser account Look for "Done" in the History column

If you do not see any scan progress for a FULL 24 hour period, send a message to support@sigparser.com and they can take a look.
