Install SigParser Package in Salesforce
You should install the SigParser managed package when using Salesforce. It will create dedicated fields on the Contact, Account, and Lead objects as well as create custom objects and components to display relationships data from SigParser.
Log In to your Salesforce Organization
Click this LINK to install the Salesforce Package (version 32)
Be sure to install For all users
Enable APIs to display Email and Meeting history for Contacts and Accounts
Wait for confirmation that the package has been successfully installed
Add API Key for Interactions Component
In your SigParser Organization:
Go to Settings > Developers > select New API Key
Immediately copy and save the bolded API key value once generated. It will disappear when you navigate away from the page. You will use it in the following steps.
In your Salesforce Organization:
Select the Gear Icon (upper right corner) > select Setup
Search and select Custom Settings in the search bar
Select Manage next to SigParser Key Values
Click Edit on API_KEY and paste the copied key from the previous step and Save
Click Edit on API_URL and set to https://ipaas.sigparser.com/ and Save
π‘ There should be two records already created for API_KEY and API_URL. If not you'll need to create them.
Create Settings if not present
Select New
Enter the following:
Name: API_KEY (must be capitalized)
Value: (Paste copied API Key from previous step)
Select Save
Select New
Enter the following:
Name: API_URL (must be capitalized)
Value: https://ipaas.sigparser.com/
Select Save
Confirm Lightning Web Security Settings
If the Sankey chart isn't loading the chart or the chart is blank you likely need to turn on the Lightning Web Security.
Go to Setup
Search for Session Settings
Under the section Lightning Web Security section of the page
Check Use Lightning Web Security for Lightning web components
Salesforce should automatically turn this on after Jan 2023.
Frequently Asked Questions
When the "Suggested Account Contacts" widget moves a Contact how can I see a history of changes?
You can turn on field history tracking in Salesforce on Contact records on the "Account Name" field. Be sure to check the "Enable Contact History" checkbox.
You can then add a Related List - Single widget to the layout for a Contact using the related list Contact History
What happens if a user doesn't have permission to move a Contact from one Account to another?
They'll just see an error within Salesforce when they try to move that record.
