Roles are a set of Permissions which determine what actions a user can perform within SigParser.

Pre-Defined Roles & Permissions

When you first create a SigParser account, there will be existing roles with configured permissions to help you get started.

These Roles cover the most common User instances. The Mailbox Admin Role has the highest level of account permissions. The User Role has the lowest level of account permissions.

You can edit the Permissions of these predefined Roles to best suit your needs. You can also create new Roles and establish Permissions for those Roles based on your needs.

Role Permissions can be adjusted at any time.

Secure Permissions

Can Manage Developer API

  • Can generate and delete API keys to export records from SigParser account.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users responsible for managing development aspects of the SigParser application.

Can Manage Workflows

  • Workflows are low code pieces of logic that SigParser can use to manipulate data. This grants the users with this role the ability to manage those workflows.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users responsible for managing development aspects of the SigParser application.

Can View Email Messages

  • Can view message details of emails and meetings.

  • This is disabled by default. To enable this feature, send a request to support@sigparser.com.

  • This Permission can be enabled per Role.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins.

Can View Subjects and Attachments

  • Can view subjects and attachments of emails and meetings.

  • This is disabled by default. To enable this feature, send a request to support@sigparser.com.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins.

General Permissions

Can Manage Users & Roles

  • Can create and update Roles and Permissions AND invite and remove Users.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users who may need to manage the SigParser account.

Can Manage Coworkers

  • Can categorize Contact and Company records as Coworkers. Can expose email messages of Coworkers.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users who may need to manage the SigParser account.

Can View Private Contacts

  • Can view all Contact records marked as Private.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users who may need to manage the SigParser account.

Can Manage Admin Billing

  • Can update billing details like the credit card and can purchase packages in SigParser.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users who may need to manage the SigParser account.

Can View Coworker Metrics

  • Can see Contact and Company graph data in the coworker modals.

Can View All Contacts

  • Can view all Contact records not marked as Private.

Can View Latest Email Signatures

  • Can view the latest email signature for all Contacts.

  • SigParser captures email signatures by default to display in the UI. This can be disabled by sending a request to support@sigparser.com.

Can View Email Folder Tags

  • Can view Email Folder tag values captured from all mailboxes, not just their own.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users who may need to manage the SigParser account.

Can Export Contacts & Companies

  • Can export Contact and Company records from SigParser from a CSV or Excel file.

Can Import Contact & Companies

  • Can import Contact and Company data into SigParser as a CSV or Excel file.

Can Manage Tag Types

  • Can add or remove custom Tag Type records.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users who may need to manage the SigParser account.

Can Manage Mailbox Scan Rules

  • Can add and remove mailbox scan rules, such as emails and domains that get ignored.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users who may need to manage the SigParser account.

Can Add Mailboxes

  • Can connect Mailboxes to this SigParser account.

Can Manage Mailboxes

  • Can manage Mailboxes to this SigParser account.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users who may need to manage the SigParser account.

Can Add Connectors

  • Can connect Connectors to this SigParser account.

Can Manage Connectors

  • Can connect Connectors to this SigParser account.

  • Should be reserved for Mailbox Admins or App Admins. Intended for high-level users who may need to manage the SigParser account.
