SigParser can be configured in different ways. The following checklist will help guide your configurations based on our recommended best practices.
Limit Admin Roles
Only one or two people in your organization should be assigned Mailbox Admin Roles.
Mailbox Admins have the highest level of account Permissions, and it is best to limit this access to only a few individuals.
Only one or two people in your organization should be App Admins Roles. App Admins have the second highest level of account permissions, and it is best to limit this access to only a few individuals.
More information on Role configuration can be found HERE.
Identify Coworker Domains
Mark your Company record as Coworker to when you first start using SigParser.
This will hide all the internal communication and calculate the statistics properly. Sometimes there are many Company records that need to be configured as a Coworker.
Any changes to Coworker status can take a few hours to fully update properly.
Go to Companies > select Search
In the search bar under Company Name or Email Domain, enter the corresponding details of your company
Select the CheckMark Box next to which records you want to label
Select Update > Update Status Value > select Coworker
Exclude Sensitive Domains & Emails Addresses
You can exclude sensitive domains and email addresses from ever being ingested into SigParser by configuring the Mailbox Scan Rules.
This is suggested for any external domain such as your HR company, legal or any companies involved in Mergers & Acquisitions that you don't want people to see. Don't configure your own internal domain in this.
Go to Settings > Admin Settings > Advanced Workflows
Go to Scan Rules > Add Scan Rules
Select a Match Type - either specific email addresses or email domains (ex: HR@company.com or hrdomain.com)
Enter the corresponding Match Type values in the text box
Select Add Rules and Delete Data
Email Signatures
SigParser captures email signatures by default to display in the UI. This can be disabled by sending a request to support@sigparser.com.
If you don't want to show email signature previews to a specific Role there is a Permission called “Can View Latest Email Signatures.” Simply disable this Permission under that Role.
Permission: Can Manage Coworkers
Can categorize Contact and Company records as Coworkers. Can expose email messages of Coworkers.

Permission: Can View All Contacts
If this is disabled then the user can only see contacts they had interactions with based on the mailbox the user is the owner of. For this feature to work, each user needs to be mapped to a specific mailbox when configuring the user.
If enabled, the user can view all Contact records unless they are marked Private. There is a separate Permission to enable or disable the ability to view Contacts marked as Private.
