The Relationship Score is a rating from 0 to 5 that measures the strength of the relationship between two people based on their communication activity.
Note: The Relationship Score is currently available on the Relationships page.
How It Works
SigParser calculates the total number of interactions between two people, including:
Emails sent and received (including CC'd emails)
Meetings attended together
The total interaction count is then compared against your organization's configured scoring thresholds to determine a Relationship Score.
Score Meanings
Score | Description |
5 | Very strong relationship |
4 | Strong relationship |
3 | Moderate relationship |
2 | Light relationship |
1 | Minimal relationship |
0 | No significant interaction |
Example
Suppose your organization has configured the following thresholds:
Score | Minimum Interactions |
5 | 50 |
4 | 25 |
3 | 10 |
2 | 5 |
1 | 1 |
If two people have 12 total interactions, they would receive a Relationship Score of 3, because they meet the threshold for level 3 but not level 4.
Customizable Thresholds
Relationship Score thresholds can be customized to match your organization's definition of relationship strength.
For Professional and Enterprise subscriptions, the scoring thresholds are configured by the SigParser team. If you would like to review or adjust your Relationship Score thresholds, please contact SigParser Support.
