Pre-Requisites
Before configuring auto export, make sure you have:
An active SigParser Professional or Enterprise subscription
A connected CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics) that is set as your Primary CRM
Step 1: Navigate to CRM Export Settings
Navigate to Connectors in SigParser.
Select the CRM connector to open its configuration settings
Under the Export Settings section, you'll find three key configuration areas:
Fields to Export — Map which SigParser fields will be sent to your CRM
Export Updates — Define how SigParser updates existing records in your CRM
Export Records — Define how SigParser adds new records to your CRM
Each of these settings can be configured per Record Type: Contacts, Leads, Companies, Contact Relationships, Company Relationships, and Contact Meetings.
❗Note: For Salesforce, you can only export Leads or Companies, not both.
Step 2: Configure Field Export Mapping
This step maps SigParser fields to the corresponding fields in your CRM.
Under the Fields to Export column, click Fields for a record type.
Review or edit the existing field mappings.
To modify a mapping, select the three-dot menu (⋮) next to any field. From here you can:
Add, delete, or disable a field mapping
Edit advanced settings (rarely needed)
Click Save to apply your changes.
Export Rules
Export Rules control how SigParser sends field values to your CRM — whether data gets created, updated, or skipped based on the current state of your CRM records. Rules can be configured individually for each mapped field.
To change a rule, select the dropdown in the Export Rules column.
💡 Tip: The default mapping is recommended for most users.
Available Export Rule Options
Rule | Behavior |
Export Always | Always exports the SigParser value to your CRM, overwriting the existing value — even if the SigParser field is blank. Use when you want SigParser to be the source of truth. |
Export Updates | Only exports the value when the CRM field was last updated by SigParser. This prevents overwriting fields that have been manually edited in your CRM. |
Export on Create | Exports the value only once, and only if the CRM field is currently blank. Best for initial data population without disrupting future edits. |
Step 3: Configure Rules for Updating Existing Records
This step controls how SigParser updates records that already exist in your CRM.
Under the Export Updates column, click Rules for a record type.
Review how updates from SigParser apply to existing records in your CRM
Review or adjust the update rules as needed.
To activate:
Toggle Active (top right of the module)
Click Save and Export Updates to Contacts
Repeat for each Record Type you want SigParser to keep updated.
❗Note: Contact records must match on email address to be eligible for export from SigParser.
Step 4: Configure Rules for Exporting New Records
This step controls how SigParser adds net-new records to your CRM.
Under the Export Records column, click Rules for a record type.
Configure how new contacts are added to your CRM
Configure how new contacts are added, and add or remove rules as needed.
To activate:
Toggle Active (top right of the module)
Enable Auto Create Accounts if you want SigParser to automatically create a new Account in your CRM when a Contact's associated account doesn't already exist. If disabled, only Contacts linked to existing CRM accounts will be exported.
Click Save and Export Records to Contacts
❗Note: Contact records must match on email address to be eligible for export from SigParser.
Metrics
The Metrics section on the CRM details page shows a summary of record updates and creations, including any errors that may have occurred.
Click the Export Updates number to see which Contacts and fields have been updated in your CRM.
Click the Export Records number to see which Contacts and fields have been added to your CRM.
Turn off Auto Export
To stop SigParser from automatically exporting records to your CRM:
Go to Connectors and open your CRM's configuration page.
Navigate to the Export Settings section.
For each Record Type you want to disable:
Click Export Updates Rules → toggle rules off → click Save
Click Export Records Rules → toggle rules off → click Save
❗Note: Disconnecting your CRM or disabling sync does not remove records that have already been exported. Those records will need to be deleted manually from your CRM if desired.
