There may be situations where you need to merge hundreds or even thousands of email addresses.
For example, if your company rebrands and adopts a new domain, you may need to associate employees’ old email addresses with their new ones.
Step 1: Create CSV File
Create a spreadsheet with the following columns:
Old Email – The email address that should be merged into the new email address
New Email – The email address you want to set as the primary email for the Contact or Coworker
Old Email | New Email |
Populate the sheet with as many records as needed. Save the file as a CSV.
Step 2: Import into SigParser
In SigParser, navigate to the Coworker grid
select +Add
select Add Coworkers from a Spreadsheet
Confirm the import option is Import Coworker Data
select your CSV file
next
Step 3: Map & Import
During field mapping, configure the fields as follows:
Old Email → Email Address
New Email → Merge into Email Address
If the mapping is reversed, the primary email may not be set correctly. If that happens, simply correct the mapping and re-upload the file.
This process can also be done for Contacts.
