How CRM Company Matching Works

Updated over a week ago

SigParser automatically matches your CRM Company (Account) records with SigParser Companies to keep your data synchronized and organized.

When there are duplicate CRM Companies in your CRM it can get tricky to know which one to automatically choose when adding contacts to the CRM.

How CRM Company Matching Works

SigParser analyzes your CRM contacts and accounts to find the best match for each company domain. The matching system:

  1. Collects all domain and CRM account combinations from your contact email domains and company websites

  2. Calculates a match score based on:

    • Website domain similarity

    • Company name similarity

    • Number of contacts with matching email domains

    • Contact ratio (contacts with domain vs. total contacts)

  3. Selects the best match - The CRM account with the highest score becomes the auto-matched account

Match Types

  • Auto: System automatically selected based on highest score

  • Approved: You manually confirmed this match (locks in place, won't recalculate)

  • Blocked: You prevented this SigParser Company from matching to any CRM account

Match Eligibility

You can optionally restrict matching only to CRM Companies that meet certain criteria by configuring rules.

This is useful if certain departments are making CRM Accounts for their own purposes but you want Contacts to only go into CRM Accounts that are specially meant for Contact records.

Note: Matching recalculates every 8 hours to stay current with your CRM data.
