How often does auto export run?
About every 8 hours
If I connect my team or organizations mailboxes, will my colleagues receive my Contacts added to their Contact App and visa versa?
No - SigParser will only export a Contact to the Contact app that is associated with the Contact (found in the corresponding Contact App mailbox).
Can I configure different update and export rules for various connected mailboxes?
If multiple mailboxes are configured for auto-syncing, the configuration criteria will apply to all mailboxes.
Can I sync contacts to multiple contact apps?
Yes. You can configure separate connectors for both Microsoft 365 Contacts and Google Contacts simultaneously, each with their own sync rules.
Will auto export create duplicate contacts?
SigParser uses email address to identify contacts for updating. If there are multiple contacts in your contact app with the same email address, SigParser will update both records.
Will Ignored Contacts be auto-exported to my Contact App?
Contacts marked as Ignore will not auto export to your Contact App.
What happens to contacts that no longer meet my sync criteria?
Contacts already synced to your contact app remain there. Auto Sync does not remove contacts that previously qualified but no longer meet updated criteria. You would need to manually delete them from your contact app if desired.
Does Auto Sync work with personal email accounts?
Yes, Auto Sync works with both professional Microsoft 365/Google Workspace accounts and personal Outlook.com/Gmail accounts.
How is Auto Sync different from manual export?
Manual export is a one-time action where you select specific contacts to export. Auto Sync continuously monitors your contacts and automatically syncs those meeting your criteria without manual intervention. Users with only a History Scan purchase can manually export unlimited contacts but don't have access to Auto Sync.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Contacts are not syncing
Confirm you have a SigParser subscription
Verify Connector Status and Sync Status are both set to Active
Check that contacts meet all your sync rule criteria
Confirm your contact app authentication hasn't expired (try disconnecting and reconnecting)
Ensure SigParser has permission to write to your contact app
Some contact information is missing
Check if you've enabled Data completeness requirements that might be filtering contacts
Verify the contact has complete information in SigParser before expecting it in your contact app
Review which fields are being mapped in your connector settings
Allow time for enrichment—some data may be added after initial contact capture
Duplicate contacts appearing
Check if contacts have multiple email addresses creating separate records
Review your contact app's duplicate detection settings
Use SigParser's deduplication features to merge duplicate contact records before they sync
