Exclude Certain Coworkers from Appearing in the “Coworker Relationships Email Addresses” Field

Updated over a month ago

Overview

If you have shared or group mailboxes (such as billing@..., finance@..., or projects@...) showing up in the Coworker Relationships Email Addresses field, you can easily exclude them using the Coworker Status setting in SigParser.

Steps to Ignore Specific Coworkers

  1. Go to the Coworkers page in your SigParser account.

  2. Locate the coworker record(s) you’d like to exclude.

  3. Set the Coworker Status value to Ignore.

    • This tells SigParser to exclude that coworker from future relationship calculations.

Recalculate Relationships and Metrics

After setting a coworker to “Ignore,” SigParser will need to recalculate relationships to remove those entries from relationship fields.

To trigger a recalculation:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Admin Settings > Advanced Settings.

  2. Click Recalculate Metrics.

    • The recalculation process can take 4–6 hours to complete, depending on your data volume.

    • Once complete, ignored coworkers will no longer appear in the Coworker Relationships Email Addresses field.

Notes

  • Ignoring a coworker only affects how their data is used in relationship metrics and fields; their contact record remains in your database.

  • You can reverse this at any time by changing the Coworker Status back to Active and recalculating metrics again.
