The My Contacts view ensures each user only sees contacts tied to their own data sources—like their mailbox, CSV imports, or CRM connections. It’s perfect for teams that want clarity, privacy, and cleaner contact management.
🚀 Why Use My Contacts?
Sales & BD Teams: Focus only on your pipeline—no duplicate outreach or irrelevant data.
Marketing Teams: Segment lists by ownership for cleaner targeting and campaigns.
Client Teams: Stay focused on your own relationships while collaborating on shared accounts.
Admins: Maintain clean data visibility, privacy, and role-based access.
🔧How It Works
SigParser tags each user’s data sources (mailboxes, imports, CRM syncs).
When My Contacts is selected, users only see contacts from those assigned sources.
Admins can manage which data sources are assigned to each user.
🔍 How to Use the My Contacts View
Go to Contacts
Open the Views dropdown
Select My Contacts
You’ll now see only contacts tied to your data sources.
💡 Add a quick reference column
Add a Column to the Grid
Navigate to Overview → check My Contact > Save
✅ = Contact you own
🧪 Filter by ownership
Use the search bar:
My Contact is TRUE
Or go to the Filter icon → Overview → My Contact → is TRUE
🔒 How to Limit Users to “My Contacts” Only
To limit a user’s visibility to their own contacts, you'll need to adjust Role permissions in SigParser. You can either modify an existing role or create a new one with limited access.
Note: Disabling this permission restricts contact visibility but does not allow access to firmwide Interactions, Relationships, or Company data.
Option A: Update an Existing Role
Go to Settings → Users → Users
Select the user’s Role
Disable the Can View All Contacts permission
Save
✅ Now the user will only see contacts from their sources.
Option B: Create a New Role
Go to Settings → Users → Roles → +Add
Name it (e.g. My Contacts Only)
Disable Can View All Contacts
Customize other permissions
Save and assign the role
💡 Tip: Use the “Team Member Limited” role as a starting point.
