Validate Email Addresses with SigParser

Check if an email address is deliverable

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Your email deliverability rate matters! This is why email marketers often use email verification to improve their deliverability rate. A low deliverability rate could result in you getting kicked off your email marketing platform or your emails getting blocked.

Email verification is all about determine whether an email address is deliverable. Not whether an employee is still at a company. There are a lot of data points that go into guessing whether an email address is deliverable. These include pinging the mail server silently, your latest interaction dates, bounces and third party tools such as Clearout in our validation process. We strive to be right 99% of the time. For most email marketers it is better to maintain high reputation for deliverability than to deliver to every email address. Additionally, you can use other metrics in SigParser to determine which email addresses you want to send emails to such as the number of emails received or sent to an email address or the latest date or even job title or custom fields you define.

⚠️ Do not use for job change tracking

We've had customers try to use email verification for determing whether someone has left a company or not. If job change tracking is critical for contacts then email verification isn't the right tool. This tool only tries to tell you if an email address is likely deliverable, not if the employee is still there.

Instead we suggest using our Job Change Enrichment tooling within SigParser to determine which contacts have moved jobs. It is more expensive but will give better results including their current job title and past jobs.
